We had our first technical foul of the decade called against Coach Mike in the game against the Kings. Our coaches were attempting to explain to the ref why he cannot call a 3 second violation against our player in the period between shots that were spaced less than 3 seconds apart; i.e. the 3 second clock resets after a shot like a shot clock would. Judgement calls are missed by every official in every sport, but rule interpretation is pretty black and white and you would think the ref would appreciate Mike's attempt to bring him current on the rule. Apparently not. We appreciate the effort and since the T shots were missed, it was literally "no harm, no foul."
