STATS FANATICS HELP: LEAGUE TEAMS
Add Team
Before you can create a league schedule, you must add teams to that league. Go to the 'League Teams' section and click the 'Add Team' button located on the bottom of the page. From there you can select an existing team in your organization or create a new one by selecting 'Other'. When creating a new team, all fields are required except the Team Manager's Email. By entering an email, it allows the team manager to receive emails when a visitor clicks 'Contact Team'. The team manager's email address is kept confidential and will not be displayed on the site.
When selecting an existing team for a new league, you can only add teams that played the same sport. Please keep in mind that Men's Softball and Coed Softball are treated as different types of sports. Edit Team
To edit a team, click 'edit' from the 'DETAILS' column for that specific team.
Team Display Settings
To edit a team's display settings including changing page colors as well as uploading a team logo and banner, click 'edit' in the 'DISPLAY' column. Click HERE to learn more about team display settings.
Team News
To edit a team's new items, click 'edit' in the 'NEWS' column. Click HERE to learn more about adding or editing team news items.
Team Admin
The team admin section gives you the ability to grant team managers access to edit their own team's display settings and team news items. Click 'edit' in the 'ADMIN' column and submit the team manager's name and email. An email with a generated admin code will be sent to the team manager. The team manager will then need to login to the Stats Fanatics site using the same email the admin code was sent to and submit the code in the 'Admin Codes' section of his account settings menu.
The 'STATUS' column within the Team Administrators section will display if the manager has entered the admin code or not. To remove a team manager, just click 'remove' while in the team administrators section. You can also grant teams the ability to edit their own rosters and submit their own game stats. To do this, go to 'Settings' and click 'Team Admin Access' located under the 'Organization Administrative Settings' category. IMPORTANT: Teams cannot submit their stats for a particular game until the league enters the score. After both teams submit their stats for a game, you can lock the game in the 'Game Stats' admin section to prevent team admin from going back and changing their stats. Remove Team
To remove a team from your league just click 'remove' while in the league teams section. However, you cannot remove a team from a league if it has scheduled games.
