About The League
Since its inception in 2008, The Fall River Independent Baseball League has provided a stage for the area's best amateur, collegiate and former professional players, coaches and umpires in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The FRIBL is a "wooden bat" league.
The league is founded by Norm Yelle, the League currently consists of eleven teams in a geographical area that stretches from Fall River to Taunton and into Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The level of competition has been and continues to be extremely high.
