Bones Knock Off Black Storm

The weather held up for just enough time to complete our season opener, as the Bones outlast the Black Storm 5-4. A 4-4 game going into the 9th, Roy Cook split the left center gap with a 1-out double and Kenny Jones drove him home for the winning run. The bats were quiet for much of the day, as we never strung many back to back hits together. Nate Boman did the most damage in the 3rd inning with a 2-out, 2-rbi double to put us up 3-0. On the mound, Jon Pacheco and Nick Cranmer combined for 8 innings and 0 earned runs, while allowing only 1 hit and 7 strikeouts.
