Mets 3, Braves 1 | Posted by Richard McKinney on March 9th, 2010 | |
The Braves (4 - 3) may have lost to the Mets Tuesday night at Lyngate Park, but they really beat themselves. Stephen Klee pitched a gem, giving up only two hits in five innings of work. But the Braves defense made two critical errors in the third inning that put the Mets ahead to stay.
Yes, the Mets(6-1) have a pretty good team and their pitcher did a great job against the Braves hitters. However, this game came down to mistakes and that was the difference.
The Braves batters hit the ball very hard, but most seemed to be right at a Met fielder.
