Red Sox cruised for five innings and then had to dig deep to win their first game. Andrew pitched three great innings followed by Ryan E for three great innings. The Red Sox were ahead 5-0 going into the top of the 6th inning. The Angels came up with 4 runs making the game a nail biter! But, the Red Sox got it done and won 5-4. It was a great way to start the season. Andrew did a great job of pitching as did Ryan E. Grant did a fine job of catching and also went 2-3 at the plate with 3 RBI's. Good plays on the IF by Anthony who also hit a double and had 2 RBI's. Dylan had a great hit and Davey and Isaiah both scored. Connor looked good at the plate nearly getting his first hit of the season. Eric had a good eye and walked twice. And Ryan P had probably the best swings at the plate of anybody just missing a sure double as the ball was called foul.

Hustle Award - Ryan E. Ryan scored without me sending him. A very heads up play!
Do Your Best Award - Grant H. 2-3 with 3 RBI's.
Have Fun - Anthony R. Anthony was playing good and having fun with 2 put outs from SS.
The Red Sox had 6 hits, 7 BB's, and 8 K's.
The Angels had 2 hits, 8 BB's, and 12 K's.
